Celtic Steps Launch Sensational Show In The Brandon Conference Centre Tralee.
Last night saw Celtic Steps The Show launch their phenomenal Irish Music, Song and Dance Show to a full house in the Brandon Conference Centre, Tralee. TheShow which began its 8th season in the Killarney Racecourse in April, will now run simultaneously in Tralee for the 2019 season for 5 nights a week, from Sunday through to Thursday.
The highly anticipated opening night was met with much enthusiasm from the 600 strong audience, combining an eclectic mix of local business people and representatives of Tralee as well as travelling tourists, who were all treated to a glittering drinks reception pre- Show. Originally from Tralee, David Rea, Co-Producer and Director of the Show commented; “Last night was the culmination of a lifelong dream for me, coming back to my own home town to enhance the already vibrant tourism product – exciting times ahead”.
The successful Show, which is renowned internationally for its World Champion Irish Dancers and Musicians, showcases local Tralee and Kerry talent at its best and has created 21 new jobs, bringing the total workforce to just over 60 people. The line-up features online singing sensations, the O’Neill Sisters from Causeway, Shona Heaslip, local sportswoman and hopeful Irish Olympian as well as Tralee woman, Éadaoin McGinley, both who have been dancing with the Show since its inception.
