Celtic Steps The Show are delighted to have presented a donation to Tralee based Charity, Recovery Haven Kerry in association with celebrated Kerry Designer, Don O’Neill.

We were thrilled earlier in the season when Kerry fashion royalty, Don O’Neill came to visit our Show in the Brandon Hotel Tralee on a flying visit home from New York where he is stationed with global fashion house, Theia.
On the trip he was kind enough to gift some of his recent designs, (in the form of crystallised couture gowns) to our three sensational Singers, the O’Neill Sisters to wear in the Show for the remainder of the season in return for a donation to the designer’s favourite Charity.

Co.Owner and Producer of Celtic Steps The Show, Sean Murphy commented; “Recovery Haven is a cause close to Don’s heart and indeed the hearts of many people in the community. I think everyone in Kerry is in awe of the work that they do and the difference they make to those families touched by cancer so we were delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to such a worthy cause”.

Recovery Haven and its volunteers work tirelessly to help provide those affected by cancer, and their families, the ongoing support they need including counselling, drop-in services and support groups as well as one to one therapy.
Marketing & PR Officer, Marisa Reidy of Recovery Haven added; “We would like to express our extreme gratitude to the Celtic Steps team who kindly donated €500 to our charity during their wonderful run in Tralee over the Summer. The donation was arranged with Producers Sean Murphy & David Rea in collaboration with Ballyheigue Designer, Don O’Neill. Thank you so much to all involved for your amazing support. What a wonderful gesture”.
Celtic Steps would like to wish all at Recovery Haven the very best of luck in their work for the year ahead … go n’éirí an bóthar leat!
